Pollsar Consent to the Processing of Personal Data

1. General Provisions

1.1. This Consent to the Processing of Personal Data (hereinafter — the "Consent") governs the processing of personal data of users of the Pollsar platform (hereinafter — the "Platform"), available at https://pollsar.com, by POLLSAR LLC (hereinafter — "Pollsar", "we"), registered in the United States of America (State of Florida).

1.2. By giving this Consent, you confirm that you have reached the minimum age required to use the Platform (16 years old to take part in surveys as a respondent; 18 years old to register an account and use paid services), and you grant Pollsar the right to process your personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA, USA).

1.3. Pollsar does not process the personal data of persons under 16. Account registration and paid services are available only to persons aged 18 or older. If we become aware that data of a person under 16 has been collected, we will immediately delete it from our systems.

2. What Data We Collect

2.1. We collect the following categories of data:

For all users:

• Profile data: name, e-mail address; optionally, location and organization.
• Technical data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser, time zone, session data.
• Cookie data: information collected through cookies and pixel tags (details in the Cookie Policy).

For respondents:

• Survey responses: information provided when taking a survey. The scope of the data requested is determined by the survey's author.

For Authors:

• Payment data: payments are handled by third-party payment systems (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). Pollsar does not store your full bank card details on its servers, but receives only limited billing information to account for the payment.
• Survey content: the text and structure of the surveys created, as well as materials uploaded into them (images, videos, audio files, logos).

3. How Long We Store Data

3.1. We store data only for as long as necessary for the purposes of processing:

• Profile data: as long as your account is active or as required by law (after profile deletion — 30 days for recovery, then deletion or anonymization).
• Survey responses: from 6 months (Free plan) to 3 years (paid plan), then deleted.
• Billing records: 5 years after the last transaction for tax purposes. Pollsar does not store full bank card details.
• Cookie data: from 1 hour to 2 years (details in the Cookie Policy).

4. How We Use Data

4.1. We use your data for the following purposes:

• Providing services: access to creating surveys, distributing them, and analytics.
• Personalization: adapting the interface and settings to your preferences.
• Analytics: analyzing use of the Platform to improve it (e.g., via Google Analytics).
• Security: protecting against fraud and ensuring data security.
• Notifications: sending e-mail notifications about new surveys or updates (with the option to unsubscribe).
• Legal compliance: fulfilling legal obligations.

5. Your Rights

5.1. You have the following rights:

• Access to your data, its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability.
• Withdrawal of consent to data processing at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
• Lodging a complaint with a data protection authority.
