Pollsar Email Notification Policy

1. General Provisions

1.1. This Email Notification Policy (hereinafter "Policy") outlines how POLLSAR LLC (hereinafter "Pollsar", "we"), a company registered in the United States of America (Florida), uses email to send notifications to users of the Pollsar platform (hereinafter "Platform"), available at https://pollsar.com. The Policy applies to all users, including respondents and creators (also referred to as "makers").

1.2. The Policy forms part of the Public Offer, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and other applicable documents. We strive to comply with international standards, including GDPR (EU), the CAN-SPAM Act (USA), and Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data" (Russia), when sending notifications.

1.3. The purpose of this Policy is to ensure transparency regarding how and when we send notifications and to provide users with the ability to manage their notification preferences.

2. Types of Notifications

2.1. Pollsar sends the following categories of email notifications:

Mandatory Notifications:

• Notifications about registration, account verification, and password changes.
• Notifications about significant changes to the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Service Agreement, and other documents.
• Security notifications, including suspicious account activity or data breaches.

Functional Notifications:

• For respondents: notifications about new available surveys, point accruals, and options for using points.
• For makers: notifications about survey completions, provision of analytics, and the status of advertising banner placements.

Subscription Renewal Notifications (for makers):

• Reminders about upcoming automatic subscription renewals (7 days before deduction).
• Confirmation of funds deduction for renewal.

Informational Notifications:

• Newsletters with updates on the Platform’s operations, new features, or events related to Pollsar.
• Emails with relevant research that may be of interest to users based on their activity on the Platform.

2.2. Mandatory notifications are sent to all users and cannot be disabled, as they are necessary to ensure security and comply with legal obligations. Functional notifications, subscription renewal notifications, and informational notifications (including newsletters and emails with relevant research) can be customized in the "Notification Settings" section of your account.

3. How We Use Your Email Address

3.1. Your email address, provided during registration, is used solely for:

• Sending notifications as described in Section 2.
• Facilitating communication with you regarding Platform usage (e.g., support requests).

3.2. Pollsar does not use your email for marketing campaigns or share it with third parties, except as outlined in the Privacy Policy (e.g., sharing with service providers to send emails on our behalf). Newsletters and emails with relevant research are not considered marketing campaigns, as they are related to your activity on the Platform and are intended for informational purposes.

4. Managing Notifications

4.1. You can manage functional notifications, subscription renewal notifications, and informational notifications in the "Notification Settings" section of your account on the Platform:

• Enable or disable notifications about new surveys, point accruals, analytics, and other events.
• Disable subscription renewal reminders (however, deduction confirmations will remain active).
• Disable informational notifications, including newsletters and emails with relevant research.

4.2. To completely opt out of functional and informational notifications, you can adjust your settings or delete your account. Mandatory notifications related to security and legal requirements will be sent regardless.

5. Frequency and Timing of Notifications

5.1. Pollsar aims to minimize the number of email notifications, sending them only when necessary:

• Notifications about new surveys (for respondents) are sent no more than once per day.
• Subscription renewal notifications (for makers) are sent 7 days before deduction and on the day of deduction.
• Newsletters and emails with relevant research are sent no more than once per week.
• Mandatory notifications are sent immediately upon the occurrence of an event (e.g., a password change).

5.2. We take into account your time zone, determined based on your profile data, to send notifications at an appropriate time of day.

6. Security and Privacy

6.1. Pollsar uses secure email sending methods (e.g., TLS encryption) to ensure the security of your information.

6.2. We do not include sensitive information, such as passwords, in notifications. If you receive a suspicious email claiming to be from Pollsar requesting personal information, please report it to us at [email protected].

6.3. The processing of your email address is carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

7. Compliance with Legislation

7.1. Pollsar complies with legal requirements when sending email notifications:

• GDPR (EU): We send notifications only with your consent (except for mandatory notifications) and provide an option to unsubscribe.
• CAN-SPAM Act (USA): Each notification includes an unsubscribe link and sender identification (Pollsar).
• FZ-152 (Russia): We ensure the protection of your email address and use it only for the purposes outlined in this Policy.

8. Changes to the Policy

8.1. Pollsar may update this Policy due to changes in legislation or operational activities. The updated version will be published on the Platform with the effective date.

8.2. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through a Platform notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the changes take effect signifies your agreement with the updated Policy.
